Abdel Salam Al Hassani is a Moroccan composer, spiritual singer, songwriter and producer. Endowed with a strong cultural affiliation to music; privileged with a musical background and having studied music with several renowned Egyptian composers.
At a very young age he bore the passion to etch a mark in the field of music which he did incredibly with the release of his groundbreaking debut album ‘Ya Yumma’ – composed, produced and sang by him in 1994.
Abdel Salam’s first musical inspiration came from his grandfather who was a singer himself. Performing locally, he continued his schooling and later got into university and got a bachelor’s degree in BG.
Among the many chances around him, one thing remained the same – his strong passion to music. He could spend late nights at school with his friends where they were singing, writing rap, composing and experimenting with music in every way. It didn’t take him long to realize that music became an integral part of who he is.
Abdel Salam started to work with Moroccan artists and later moved to Cairo. He got interested spiritual music which inspired him so much he released his next groundbreaking second album ‘Naseem’ in 2003 also composed, produced and sang by him.
In 2005 Abdel Salam Al Hassani signed up and began working on an album with Good News Records, ‘Aman’.
Abdel Salam coverted to spiritual singing instead of singing for people seeking fame and glory – he started to sing for Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h
